Job Description:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop, review, and optimize sub-assembly and final system integration processes.
- Perform sub-assembly builds and final system integration in accordance with approved work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Prepare and stage materials, components, and assemblies required for manufacturing builds.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of tools, fixtures, and equipment required for assembly and integration tasks.
- Execute assembly operations in strict compliance with Work Instructions (WI), Operational Method Sheets (OMS), and safety standards.
- Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process procedures.
- Participate in process reviews, yield improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, productivity, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and assembly issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain and update process monitoring checklists, including calibration status of tools and condition monitoring of fixtures and equipment.
- Provide operational support across multiple assembly lines, products, or system variants when required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties or assignments as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, and controlled procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly diagrams, and work instructions.
- Hands-on experience in precision assembly, system integration, or semiconductor equipment manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) manufacturing or semiconductor equipment industry is advantageous.
- Flexible to support multiple product lines or manufacturing activities as business needs require.
- Eligible and willing to travel to the United States for training assignments.
- Immediate availability preferred.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred; candidates with a valid US visa will have an advantage.
