Plasma Coating

Plasma coating is an advanced surface treatment technique that will enhance semiconductor components’ durability, performance, and resistance. It also provides protective capabilities such as corrosion resistance, dielectric and thermal properties. Plasma coating has significant benefit in allowing our semiconductor customers to have better throughput yield and reduce downtime for the equipment. SMARTT provides high purity coatings solutions according to customer requirements.

Hard Anodization

Hard anodizing is a form of aluminium anodizing where the coating is thicker and more durable than regular anodizing. The key characteristics of the finished component are abrasion and corrosion resistance, surface hardness and thermal & electrical insulation. Overall, it improves part life and enhances the appearance of treated aluminium parts.

Passivation

Passivating semiconductor component surfaces is a critical process as it enhances the stability, reduce corrosion and improve device performance. Passivation layers also act as a barrier, preventing contaminants, enhancing reliability and longer part life.

Bead-Blasting

The importance of bead-blasting is to help remove contaminants, residues, oxides and any other unwanted materials from the surface. The result is having a clean and uniform finish for semiconductor component.

In-Process Qualification

The SMARTT cleaning and surface enhancement team perform the In-Process Qualification to ensure the components are clean and treated to like-new conditions.
