Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Technician to assist engineers with procedures, builds and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineers to develop and refine sub-assembly and final assembly procedures.
- Perform sub-assembly builds and final system integrations according to established work instructions.
- Prepare and stage all necessary materials and components for assembly operations.
- Identify and coordinate the availability of tools and fixtures required for assembly tasks.
- Follow work instructions (WI), Operational Method Sheet (OMS) and safety protocols diligently.
- Generate and update work instructions (WI) as processes evolve.
- Participate in process reviews and suggest improvements to enhance quality, efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during the assembly process, escalating as needed.
- Maintain and update monitoring checklists, including calibration of tools and condition checks for fixtures.
Job Requirements:
- Able to understand manufacturing process and documented procedures.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
- Hands-on experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a manufacturing context.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Soft skill knowledge in MS office.
- Flexibility to support multiple assembly lines or product variants as needed.
- Background in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation procedures.
- Eligible and willing to travel to the United States for training assignments.
- Immediate availability for onboarding is preferred.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (with US visa is an advantage) preferred.
