Job Summary:
This position reports directly to the Group CFO. The role is based in Singapore, with regular travel to Malaysia and the United States, and frequent coordination with Headquarters in Beijing and Shenyang on finance, compliance, tax, and legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Closing
- Manage daily financial accounting activities and maintain full set of accounts for assigned entities
- Perform month-end closing in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare group consolidation schedules, supporting working papers, and detailed breakdowns in accordance with accounting standards and group policies
- Support group financial and management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, costing, and inventory analysis
Audit & Tax Compliance
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements, including GST, corporate income tax, and other regulatory filings
Process Improvement & Business Support
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements (e.g. SAP) to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Support financial analysis, budgeting, and business decision-making
Stakeholder Management (China HQ & Regional Coordination)
- Work closely with the China-based headquarters and regional finance teams on financial reporting, consolidation, and business requirement.
- Support timely submission of financial data and ensure alignment with group reporting standards and policies
- Facilitate communication between Singapore entities and China HQ to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information
Other Responsibilities
- Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirement
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in full set accounting and month-end closing
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry is highly preferred, with exposure to inventory and costing
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Able to liaise effectively with China-based headquarters and Chinese-speaking counterparts, including review of Chinese documentation where required for business operations
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Singapore
- Candidates who can start within short notice will have an advantage
- Willing to work in the East region (Changi North Crescent)
